Grow GunBroker Sales Without A Second Catalog

Selling on GunBroker should not mean maintaining a second catalog by hand. Manage listings and imported orders alongside your store records, see the fees that affect margin, and give staff a place to review sync exceptions.

Overview

A Marketplace Workflow Staff Can See

Selling at scale means choosing eligible stock, keeping fees and margin visible, watching listing status, and bringing orders back into fulfillment. MFS Exchange keeps those decisions beside the catalog your shop uses for local sales and receiving.

The POS and storefront share WooCommerce records. GunBroker uses its own integration and configured update cadence, with status and activity views that give staff a place to review exceptions rather than assume every channel changed immediately.

Listings & Imagery

Choose What Goes Live

  • One-click or automatic product sync from WooCommerce to GunBroker as fixed-price listings, or per product as true auctions with a starting bid, reserve and optional Buy Now.
  • Auctions that can’t be double-sold — while an auction runs, your website shows “View auction on GunBroker” and the end date instead of Add to Cart, the register refuses the sale, and the sync leaves the listing alone. Consigned guns can go to auction straight from the POS consignment panel.
  • Bulk upload tens of thousands of products with background processing — start the job, then review the completed run and any skips, failures, or other results.
  • Up to 12 images per listing including featured and gallery photos.
  • Branded featured photos — add your logo strip, or place the featured photo of each new listing inside your own frame artwork with a header, footer or border. The settings page checks your frame and shows where the photo will sit.
  • Category-based auto-sync maps WooCommerce categories to GunBroker categories for selective listing — sell some categories on GunBroker, keep others local-only.
  • Per-product metabox with sync controls, status badges, pricing previews and your cost on the product edit screen.
  • Block individual products from GunBroker with one setting, which also ends a live listing.
  • List by SKU when your UPC field holds an in-house barcode, with an optional setting that keeps those codes off GunBroker instead of letting the listing be rejected.
  • Additional channel paths for Guns.com listing and order workflows and AmmoSeek feeds, where the shop has the required account or feed access and configuration.
Pricing Engine

Price For Fees And Margin

  • Flexible pricing modes — percentage markup, dollar markup, or fixed override per product.
  • Price rounding rules for the whole store — whole dollar, .99 ending, or $5 increments.
  • Minimum price floors per product so a runaway discount rule can't list below cost.
  • Zero-price protection — if a product resolves to $0 (bad feed or missing cost), the sync skips the price update instead of pushing $0 and zeroing out a live listing. Separate from the minimum price floor above — it catches the broken-data case, not just the too-low case.
  • Make-An-Offer with auto-accept / auto-reject thresholds — useful for selling below MAP by listing at MAP price and setting the auto-accept threshold to the minimum you'll actually take.
  • Margin in view — a margin column on the product list and a per-product price and profit preview, using an estimated GunBroker fee and color-coded against your minimum margin.
  • Minimum fixed listing price — fixed-price listings below a price you choose aren’t created, and live ones that drop below it are ended safely and shown on a worklist. Auctions are exempt.
Auto-Relist & Inventory

Keep Listing And Stock Signals Aligned

  • Automatic relist for unsold items with optional price discounts on each relist and configurable attempt limits.
  • Unsold auction worklist to relist a gun as an auction or switch it back to fixed price, with an optional per-product count of automatic re-auctions on its own terms.
  • Distributor-aware listings that tell local stock from distributor stock, with a stock buffer for distributor items so you don’t list what a distributor can’t ship. Local stock lists at its real quantity.
  • Batch and automated inventory updates between WooCommerce and GunBroker — counter sales, website sales, and source changes enter the configured sync process.
  • Private/unpublished products are pulled automatically — set a product to private or draft and its GunBroker listing comes down on the next sync, so nothing stays live that you've retired.
  • Automatic FFL requirement detection on listings so the buyer flow on GunBroker behaves correctly per product.
  • State exclusion lists for both firearms and non-firearms — different rules per category, all configurable.
  • Existing-listing verification keeps state-rule changes reviewable: configured exclusions apply to new listing creation, while existing listings have an explicit staff check instead of a silent repair promise.
  • California Prop 65 warnings configurable per product.
  • Gun show aware — a gun staged for a gun show counts as out of stock to GunBroker, and a gun live in an auction can’t be staged.
Orders & Shipping

Bring Marketplace Orders Back In

  • Automatic order import with full buyer details, payment info, and FFL dealer information attached.
  • Shipping tracking pushed back to GunBroker on order completion so buyer-side tracking updates without manual intervention.
  • Unmatched items kept — a paid order with an item that doesn’t match one of your products imports with a placeholder line, and staff link it to the right product without changing the order total.
  • Unpaid orders reserve stock as soon as they import, move ahead on their own when the buyer pays, and release the stock if the sale falls through.
  • Card fees and final charges — the buyer-paid credit card fee imports as its own line, and orders pick up GunBroker’s final shipping and tax before they’re processed.
  • Optional quiet imports that stop WooCommerce’s automatic customer emails on GunBroker orders.
  • Import-only mode brings GunBroker orders in without touching a single listing, for shops whose listings are managed somewhere else.
  • Activity and exception notifications for sales, bids, unsold items, and listing failures according to the configured sync process.
Admin & Reliability

See Exceptions Before They Become Surprises

  • Dedicated admin pages for settings, listings, category mapping, sync status, bulk listing, shipping profiles, orders, offers, minimum-price exclusions and activity logs.
  • Detailed activity logging, kept for 14 days, with the request and response behind each listing call — when a listing fails, you can see exactly why.
  • One listing per product — the sync keeps its own record of which GunBroker listing belongs to each product, so relists stay linked and other tools writing old product data back can’t create duplicate listings.
The "Sync Inventory Type" policy. A single setting governs which inventory types are eligible for new GunBroker listings: both local and distributor items, local items only, or distributor items only. Existing listings still need verification when a state or inventory policy changes.
